- ARRL FIELD DAY 2020 -

Upon completion of Field Day, your log needs to be submitted to the ARRL no later than Tuesday, July 28, 2020 via: Field Day App at: https://field-day.arrl.org/fdentry.php or Field Day Entries, 225 Main St., Newington, CT. 06111. Your cover note for the log should indicate that you are submitting for the Mid-State Amateur Radio Club, Johnson County, Indiana.

We are a General Interest Amateur Radio Club located in Franklin Indiana, our repeaters are on 146.835 MHz with a 151.4 PL, and 443.525 MHz also with a 151.4 PL tone, and are located in Greenwood, Indiana, at Olive Branch Road and S.R. 135. Our repeater is the Official SKYWARN Repeater for Johnson County, Indiana.  Club meetings are held at the Johnson County REMC Office located at 750 International Dr, Franklin, IN 46131.

Monthly Meetings...  We meet at 8 am on the 3rd. Saturday of each month. You do not have to be a member to attend, all meetings are open to the public and visiting hams.  Weekly VHF Net...  The Mid-State Amateur Radio Club's Net meets on Sunday nights at 7:00 pm.  This is an open net and all licensed amateurs are invited and encouraged to participate.  (See above for frequency info).

MARC Membership...  Membership in the MidState Amateur Radio Club is open to anyone with an interest in Amateur Radio.  Membership dues are $18.00 dollars per year and are due annually in January.  You do not have to be a licensed amateur to be a member of M.A.R.C.  If you would like to join our club or renew your membership, please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. The Amateur Radio Service (Ham Radio) is a federally licensed and administered service.  Anyone, regardless of age, can get a license. After successfully passing an exam, you will be given a call sign. Once licensed, ham radio operators use their radio stations to make contacts around the world.

Ham radio is one of the most exciting, friendly, useful, educational and high-tech hobbies around.  Hams include a diverse group of people around the world -- engineers, scientists, doctors, astronauts, students, teachers, boaters, pilots, retirees and famous celebrities. You never know who you're going to talk to on-the-air next.

Club members, you can pay your Annual Dues online with your PayPal account or using any credit card listed below.

All amateur radio operators are welcome to use either W9MID repeater (146.835 or 443.525 - both w/151.4 PL). If you use one of our repeaters but are not a Club member, we invite you to make a donation to the repeater fund for the maintenance of this service. Thanks.
