Central Indiana Amateur Radio Group

There is a new web side just getting started at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/IndyHamRadio/ dedicated to sharing information of interest to all Hams in Central Indiana (and Indiana in general). Why do we need another group? To my knowledge, there is no one place to post all info of interest to Indiana Hams. If you have info that might be of interest beyond your own club's web site (but not of national interest), items to sell or wanted to buy, etc., give it a try.

(Oh, yea, did I mention that it was me that started it.)

Toshiba Corporation announced a breakthrough in lithium-ion batteries.

The new battery can recharge to 80% of its energy capacity
in one minute. A full charge takes a few more minutes.

The battery loses only 1% of it capacity after 1,000 cycles.
