FIELD DAY '06 "ON THE ROAD IN GREENWOOD"
Mid-State ARC members took their Field Day to the public by using the Johnson county Emergency Communications Van for their base of operation. An information table was on display outside the van.

The FCC has released it's findings on the effect hurricane Katrina had on radio communications. It's a fairly in depth read, but nevertheless intriguing. If you are at all interested in communications during a disaster or the immediate aftermath, you might want to consider giving this some attention.

MARC Meeting

The next meeting of the Mid-State Amateur Radio Club is this Saturday (June 17) at 8:00 am. As usual we will be meeting in the basement of the Johnson County Emergency Management Agency, 1111 Hospital Road, Franklin, IN 46131.
