BANDING TOGETHER
MARC members tuned up their rigs and provided communications and parking assistance for the annual Greenwood Band Invitational Sept. 22nd. The eight hour event was held under perfect fall conditions.

NEW TEAM TAKES OFFICE
Following a close contest for club president Jack Parker W8ISH was selected to head up MARC. This is Jack's second time to handle the gavel. He served as the third MARC club president. Steve Carmean, K9DY accepted the treasurer job. Dave Daily, KB9LOT begins his fourth term as VP while Carol Osborne KC9CKF holds down the secretary positon one more time. Our thanks to JR Osborne KB9HSE and Brenda Haler-KC9EBL for their time and efforts over the past two years.

PERFECT WEATHER

Join us Saturday September 15th at the Union Christian Church for the annual MARC picnic. The fun begins at 11AM. The club will provide burgers, buns and hot dogs. Bring a dish to share. Brenda Haler will provide the grill. Union Christian Church is located at 1267 East county road 300 South. Talk-in on the 146.835 repeater. PL 151.4

Officer Election's 2008

Club P.I.O. Linda Harshbarger, KC9GCH and Club Secretary Carol Osborne, KC9CFK are proud to present the 2008 Officer Election Ballot and information. All current club members in good standing are invited to participate. You can either turn your ballet in at the next meeting in person, or mail your completed ballot to the club secretary, via the club P.O. Box.

This is your chance to decide who will lead YOUR club in the coming year. Let's try and make voter turn out 100%!
